I didn’t start out making soap. I began with body oils, body butters, and bath bombs, while soapmaking—especially working with lye—felt intimidating. I explored melt-and-pour and hot process soap before a large commercial order finally pushed me to commit to cold process.

Fourteen years and a Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild certification later, I still love this craft as much as I did when I made my first batch.

I created this course to be the guide I wish I had—one that builds your skills and understanding step by step. You won’t just learn what to do. You’ll understand why each step matters.
